Christmas Spirit Week is approaching at school, and there are many fun, festive activities to prepare for... Holiday Hat Day, Ugly Sweater Day, Cookie Decorating Day, Pyjama Day etc.
On the last day of school, it's the big Class Party! Kids enjoy the day with music, food, gifts and friends.
Kids usually exchange gifts and treats with each other, but sometimes coming up with ideas for these can be a bit tricky. You want something that would be appreciated and noticeable but also affordable because you're buying for approximately 20 kids per class!
Here are some ideas that we have done over the years that have proven to be winners on this special day!
SIMPLE CANDY CANES
When my daughter was 3, we gave these to my daughter's gym buddies. A basic candy cane, dressed up with some ribbon and a cute tag.
STATIONERY PACKAGES
These were made with items from the Dollar Store. Notepads, Christmas pencils, Christmas erasers and a candy cane to finish it off.
COOL MULTICOLOURED PENS
Do you remember these from when you were a kid? Well, kids these days enjoyed the magic just the same! Paired with a punny "Stu-PEN-dous" tag and a candy cane, these were definitely gifts to use and remember.
SCRATCH RAINBOW BOOKMARKS
These are our gifts this year! We made "blank" bookmarks out of Rainbow Scratch Paper, and paired it with a wooden stylus, so each child can create their own designs on their bookmark.
We also included a fun "Riddle Tag" to add some excitement to the gift.
All packed up and ready to go!
TREATS
You can take just about anything and make it into a Christmas treat. Decorate with character faces and they become cute, memorable additions to the classroom Christmas party spread.
